I am a SAHM which I love, love, love! I'm in love with working-out, photography, blogging, decorating, reading Jane Austin, old movies, the outdoors and shopping! The loves of my life are my incredibly H.O.T hubby and my three spicy-sweet kiddos. This is the outline of our lives.

What Kind of Mother am I? And what the ?

Yesterday all of Aubryn's school papers will laying all over the floor so I chucked them in the garbage (it's under our sink) hoping that she wouldn't notice. A couple of hours later I see all of her papers back out of the garbage scattered on the kitchen floor. Oops, guess she found out what I did. Well, she's a smart girl ... I'm sure she'll understood that I love her pictures but we can't keep every single one and they were making my house messy! Not so. As I was nearly to the top of the stairs last night Bryn passed by to go into her room, but not until she saw me first and gave me a scolding. Eyes furrowed, she exclaims, "Oh and Mom, don't throw my pictures in the trash again. That be very sad!" Knife to the heart! I'm such a jerk! I could of at least been more discreet!

OK, proceed with caution to the next story. Albeit VERY funny to Kelly and I. Some of you higher class, super clever and witty people probably won't appreciate as much as we did. What is the rating on T.V.? L for Language. That would be this...
This past weekend for our date night Kel and I went out to eat and then went bowling. Super fun. On the way home we felt like a treat so we stopped at Sonic. Kel asked me what I wanted and I accidently said a "Reece's Penis Sonic Blast." Kel was like did you just say a RPSB?! We both started laughing because we still have that stupid teenage humor. So he rolls down his window and the girl asks us what we want. Kel proceeds to say, "we'll take one reece's penis, reece's penis, oh um reece's penis, um reece's penis ... he coud NOT get reece's pieces out!!!! I am laughing uncontrollably now (but quiet enough that the girl couldn't hear me)! She interrupts and says you want a reece's blast? Yes! 4 times ladies and gentleman! He said that 4 freaking times! He was mortified. As soon as we got our stuff, Kel was like let's get out of here! So we ate our treat in the parking lot next store laughing so hard we were crying!

Randomness

This was on Sunday. I was in the shower and Kel was reading on our bed. This is what he saw when he walked out of our room. I just can't get enough of that bare bottom!
On Saturday night I took Aubryn ice skating while Kel and Beck walked around Stonebriar! She loved it! It was her first time and I can tell that she could be good if I take her enough. This was her expression when we told her that we were taking her skating. When we were all done we asked what she thought. This was her reply, "It was very slippery!"
We also like to go to this mall once in awhile.
Caution: Messy...I mean disgusting room! This was Kelly's desk when he was a little boy and now it's Aubryn's.
Beckham is a HUGE daddy's boy.
We got a hint of winter like conditions one morning.
Beckham waiting for his daddy to get home from work.
I went into the laundry room one day and found Beck chilling in the dryer (with his bear of course).

Tonight Is The Night

After a fruitless search for Beckham's pacifier tonight I had to put him to bed without it. He's 21 months. Bryn was about this age when I took it from her too. I did that ever so slowly though and she wasn't as reliant as he is. Tonight is going to be BAD! I lay him down. He is OK. I start writing this post and then the Sisters stop by to say their goodbyes. Sister Hokanson is leaving (I heart those girls SO much!) and we are hoping that she will be transfered back before she goes home in October. They leave and I come back to finish writing. Hmm... no noises. Beckham has actually gone to bed for the very first time without his pacifier! Yea! I just hope that I find the missing pascis tomorrow before he does! Wish me luck!

Cupid, Draw Back Your Bow!

OK, brace yourselves! It's me, me and me magnified in HD. Woohoo! So my friend from the 5th ward was doing little photo shoots for us girlies for our hubbies for the big V-day. I thought that it would be fun, so why not? Kel would never in a million years expect this. I told Stephanie to feel free to photoshop the crap out of me. With lotsa talent, sweet equipment, and photoshop I hope that Kel will like the new and improved (or rather enhanced!) me! So I am thinking of creating a shrine of myself on Kelly's desk (hehe).

This is a major problem. I look like a freakin' giraffe! I'm only 5'4'' and am all legs and arms. No torso! Hello! Creating a human in that super freakishly small space sucks!

Stephanie is great. I think there are a few more pics on her site. Auburnsoul.blogspot.com
Check her out, she's fabulous!

Cupid, Draw Back Your Bow!

My friend from the 5th ward was doing a Valentine's shoot for us girlies for our hubbies v-day presents. It looked pretty fun, so why not? Kel would never in a million years expect it. I told Stephanie to feel free to photoshop the crap out of me. Thanks to lotsa talent, a great camera, and photoshop to make something presentable of me. I am excited though because I never had a photographer for my wedding even, so now I have something decent to show my posterity of myself when I was just a las :)

K2DE2DL

If you're wondering what the heck the title says, so was I when I first starting dating Kelly. In fact this is what he had on the license plate of his truck referring to himself (pronounced K to da E to da L for Kel). Needless to say that is what I drove the first part of our marriage. IYIYIE! The reason I tell this story is because this post is about him and how he never ceases to amaze or surprise me. OK, so I know this is like the 3rd post about my bday (it feels like the never ending bday), but since I was so sick last week, Kel took me out this weekend for my bday dinner. It was a surprise. I was in fact a little annoyed in the beginning because we kept driving, and driving and driving. My husband knows that 1). I hate driving long distances because I get motion sick (doesn't he know me!) 2). waste of time and money (baby-sitter's cost, gas, etc..) 3). We have everything we could ever want or need right here in McKinney TX! (I have so very obviously lost any adventurous part of me that I might have ever had) and last and most importantly - it was 8:30 at night, I haven't eaten my dinner and I start to lose all social skills (both my mom and Kel can very much attest to that.) I try to remain calm as we go mile after mile as I am thinking about the 3 hour road trip that we could have actually been doing something rather than just driving! Babysitting time is very precious to me and I want to use every second very wisely! After getting into a slight rift, I try to keep my cool the rest of the way and just when I think that Kelly can't get any stupider he goes and totally redeems himself! We went to a great restaurant called The Reata (downtown FW). I highly recommend it, the food was divine. After dinner we walk around for a bit and then stop where a horse drawn carriage is waiting for us! I love horses! I have been so bummed that we had to cancel our trip to UT because I wanted so badly to go on a carriage ride around Temple Square. It was so romantic and so sweet. I loved looking at the historic buildings, beautiful courthouse and the night life! Then we left back on our pilgrimage to McKinney. :) Thank you Kelly for always being creative despite me being difficult and pessimistic. I love you, I love you, I love you!

Today Is All About Me!

Today officially marks the start of my 27 years here on earth. I feel like that number is not my age. Time has gone by in a blink and I think that I still feel youthful. Actually, I guess I am getting kind of old and crusty :) In thinking about what I have accomplished in the nearly 3 decades that I have been alive I decided to do that 25 Random Facts tag that I have gotten about a million times on Facebook and leave a little tid bit for my pos (terity). Here goes....

1. I was born and lived in Colorado until 4th grade.
2. Moved to Wisconsin where I lived until I graduated from high school.
3. Home-schooled (except for 4th when I moved to WI) until 7th grade.
4. Was on Homecoming court my sophomore year.
5. Was on Prom court my junior year.
6. "Competed" in a couple of figure skating competitions - Badger State Winter Games (I sucked)
7. Took Tai Kwon Do for the first couple of years during high school. Was a green belt when I left (what a nerd).
8. Oh yeah, "dated" one of my instructors (he was a senior). Broke up with him...that's why I quit....awkward!
9. I am the oldest of 12 children.
10. I have never watched what I eat, but I LOVE to excersize. Always have, it just feels so good!
11. Was a Recreation Education major at BYU-Idaho. Because of that I have....
12. Snow-shoed and cross country skied through the Tetons.
13. Snowboarded hills, mountains, sand dunes and behind cars (don't ask)
14. Back-packed through the Palisades for 3 days (no shower, eek)
15. Went to go pee and was about 15 feet away from a mountain lion (God was watching over me there)
16. Snow-mobiled through Yellowstone National Park.
17. I always wanted to be a forest ranger.
18. I got my Bachelor's degree in business.
19. When I was two I fell off of a church stage and broke my collar bone. My parents didn't know for 2 weeks.
20. I had a near death experience at the age of 20. I was jumping off the roof of a friend's house in AZ. I had to clear a sidewalk, over a iron-rod picket fence, and across another sidewalk into the pool. Apparently, I thought I was super woman and ran down the roof to dive (yes, folks dive) into the pool. At the very ledge of the roof I realized that I would never clear it. However, I had too much momentum from running and couldn't stop myself and fell poolside onto the concrete. The second worst pain I have ever felt in my life (aside from having a baby). I couldn't walk for weeks, my ankles and feet were so swollen. I think back about the possibility of continuing that dive and landing on the concrete head first. I'm a genius.
21. Notorious for doing back flips off of rock cliffs into quarries (it's a wonder I am still alive).
22. Kayaked in Puget Sound, white water rafted Snake River (pushed in, thought I would die of hypothermia!)
23. Had the Tiajuana Federalis steal my money.
24. Married my BFF and absolute-no question about it soul mate.
25. Hiked Mt. Saint Helen's.
