latest obsession

So over the course of the last several weeks I have been gathering up all my old ugly throw pillows and recovering them. I still have several more to complete but here is what I have done so far.

Glenwood Hot Springs and UT Ranch

About a week ago we got back from a little family vacay. We drove down to Glenwood Springs and stayed for a couple of days. One of which was spent from 11:30 am-9:30 pm at the Springs with all three kids. I think I might never want to go swimming again. Our kids are all such little fishes though that even after 10 hours straight of swimming they still asked to stay 5 more minutes when we told them it was time to go back to the hotel. I lived in Glenwood Springs as a little girl and probably some of my best childhood memories are from swimming and living there. Wow, what an absolutely beautiful place to live. Next year we'll bring our bikes and ride through the canyon.

So Kel forgot his board shorts (as he ALWAYS tends to do whenever we go on vacation) so he thought it so very cool when he found these bad boys. He totally felt like he was Rex from Napoleon Dynamite.
Not only was she diving, but she was doing flips. Leaping lizards. Beck even could go off the board and swim to the side by himself. My kids are growing up way too fast.



OK, seriously. Is it just me, or when you hold a baby I swear that it makes one's figure even worse. Butt tucked in and stomach sticking out. Anyone else feel this way?


Here we are at the ranch in Utah with Kel's familia. We came out here 2 years ago and had a terrific time.


The marshmallow bags were leaking all over our skin. Seriously, what the heck?

Dance

My dear sister Robyn will be graduating this fall from BYU-Idaho. After 4 fantastic years of dance she is sad to be leaving, so we decided to do a little dance session for her to pass down someday to her little ones. Of course, we had to include my other sister Christie even though she still has 2 years to look forward to. :) A little bio on Rob...She has danced on Collegiate all 4 years as well and choreographed for it this year and was a director of the dance company. It was my first time doing action photography and I learned several things from it.

It was a little tricky for them seeing as how they were trying not to dance on cacti and jagged rocks.











Christie auditioned for and also made Collegiate. She was in advanced clogging and a modern class this semester. Aren't they both just so stinkin' fun?!
