A Bootiful Night!

Not the best picture, but we still have another chance.  Beautiful ballerina has a bad case of static cling!  Last night was our ward's Trunk-or-Treat.  The kids had a blast and the weather was perfect!

Autumn Festival Time

Each year we go down to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. They have bounce houses, hayrides, and tractor rides, to name a few and it is all FREE! They also have pony rides (only $3) and you can also feed the animals if you want ($2 for feed). If you do decide to spend any money, it all goes to charity. Love it!

Aubryn's first field trip was to the Great Orang Pumpkin Patch in Celina.  It was definitely a crisp Autumn day and lots of fun!We're 'Haying' a Good Time!
I think I was and am having an allergic reaction to the hay because my right eye is all jacked up!

The Ghosts of Halloween's Past

First Halloween in Texas me and my GOUL-friends were "Charly's Angels."
The second year, we had a new addition to our family in the form of a cute little bat.  We were just Bats about him!  I was Tiger Lily.  Every "batty" had a great halloween!

I have to say that he was the cutest creature of the night!
Bryn was just too cute to spook as our little '50s poodle girl.

A Day for Play

Grandma McKendrick came for a visit this past weekend.  Her main reason for coming down (besides us of course:-)) was to see the traveling Art Institute of Chicago who had collaborated with the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. They had an amazing collection of original pieces by very famous artists such as Van Gogh and Monet.  Aubryn had so much fun touring with her Grandma.  Afterwards, they especially had a great time playing out in the grass and by the fountains.

Autumn Angels

Perfect days, perfect evenings, perfect fall.  I feel like I am finally coming to a stage where I can slow down a bit.  Aubryn has changed from crazy active toddler to sweet, helpful, little girl.  I could never have asked for a better oldest child.  She has always been such a huge help with Beck.  Even at times when I am too tired to stop him from getting into things that he shouldn't, Bryn is right there to remind me what is best for him!  Beckham has been such a very needy baby, but I love his tenderness and sensitivity.  These past couple of weeks he has started to become more independent and it has been bittersweet.  I love having my girl and my boy.  They each pull at different heart strings and I am so very thankful for them.  These pictures where taken a few days ago.  They love getting out the golf clubs and hitting a few balls with their dad.  In case you're wondering what Kel is doing, he is trying to get a snake (YES, A SNAKE!) out of our house.
