OK, proceed with caution to the next story. Albeit VERY funny to Kelly and I. Some of you higher class, super clever and witty people probably won't appreciate as much as we did. What is the rating on T.V.? L for Language. That would be this...
This past weekend for our date night Kel and I went out to eat and then went bowling. Super fun. On the way home we felt like a treat so we stopped at Sonic. Kel asked me what I wanted and I accidently said a "Reece's Penis Sonic Blast." Kel was like did you just say a RPSB?! We both started laughing because we still have that stupid teenage humor. So he rolls down his window and the girl asks us what we want. Kel proceeds to say, "we'll take one reece's penis, reece's penis, oh um reece's penis, um reece's penis ... he coud NOT get reece's pieces out!!!! I am laughing uncontrollably now (but quiet enough that the girl couldn't hear me)! She interrupts and says you want a reece's blast? Yes! 4 times ladies and gentleman! He said that 4 freaking times! He was mortified. As soon as we got our stuff, Kel was like let's get out of here! So we ate our treat in the parking lot next store laughing so hard we were crying!

Ah, you had me laughing! That is SO something that would happen to us...I don't ever want to grow up! So glad you had a fun date night.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to be discreet with my little one's drawings too. I keep a pile of them under my desk, so anytime they feel so inspired to draw, they pull out an already half drawn on paper, to finish their master piece. Little by little, I throw them away. I know some people who take pictures of the good stuff, so they don't have to hang on to the papers forever. I may need to start doing that!
That's hillarious!
ReplyDeleteOh...and ...um...I am a paper tosser too! Imagine what Bryn brings home times 5 so you can imagine how much of a paper pile we would have if I didn't. I have a "Mom's Art Collection" bulletine board in my laundry room that they get to periodically pick a favorite piece of artwork and put it up on the board, that seems to help. I also have "brag boards" for each kid to put things on that they are particularly proud of (see blof entry for further details). I am not saying I have all the answers, I certainly don't but those things seem to help.
Okay first thing, I am right there with you on throwing away all their pictures so I am horrible as well. Second can I just say MM(I think you know what that stands for)lol. I was dying with laughter when I read this post!
ReplyDeleteOOh you've been a bad, bad girl this week. What are we going to do with you? But you sure got a laugh out of your daddy!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteHilarious. I was actually laughing out loud picturing you two. I love when funny things like that happen just because I love to laugh and don't do it often enough. Glad you had a fun date night.
ReplyDeleteSo funny!! I don't think I'm going to be able to see reese's PIECES now without thinking of this incident. And you're not the only one, David accidently told one of the girls at Double Dip that he liked hot buns!
ReplyDeleteI just came from your mother's blog and I have to say that was pretty funny. That would be something my dh would also say. lol
ReplyDeleteI have thrown Emma's preschool papers away too, and when she discovered them in the garbage, she asked me why in a very hurt voice. It was really sad. Now I only throw papers away right before we take out the trash.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!!! Poor Kelly! I too am a paper tosser. I have yet to keep ANY of Spencer and Scott's art.
