Colorado

A week ago we got back from Colorado. We had a lot of fun and we were covered in dirt (literally) basically for the entire duration of the trip. I have 4 pairs of aunts and uncles with all of their kids and my grandparents that live in Canon City. That is also my birth place. So we like to go back to my grassroots every year. My parents and siblings also made the trip out so we had A LOT of family up there! We went camping deep in the mountains. It was the first time my kids had ever camped and they LOVED it!

The next morning we decided to head even deeper into the mountains to go fishing.
Beck loved it so much! Kel said that he whispered the entire time so that he wouldn't scare the fish away!

After fishing, we headed straight down the mountain to dirt bike. Mind you we've just camped, fished and now to the bikes with no shower. We all are super fresh and sweet smelling!

This is my dad. He grew up here and on dirt bikes. He's basically a professional. It's amazing. This is MUCH harder than it looks....trust me. :)
I also love dirt biking. Guess it's a family trait.

The next day we had to go on the Royal Gorge Train. Especially because Beck is completely and totally obsessed with trains.

So we got our tickets...
and boarded this train along the Arkansas River.

Last year when we were here we went on that air tram thing and the bridge.


This was our trip in a nutshell. We loved being with our family and in the outdoors. Can't wait for next year!
