I bought a few new back drops.

I still have to iron them and I didn't pull them taunt and secure. I just wanted to try them out real quick. I think they will work well. :)

This past weekend I was lucky enough to do 3 shoots. I had a lot of fun. I love that it doesn't seem like work and I still get paid for it! Yesterday I was talking to my mom on ichat and I had mentioned something about one of my (hundreds of) photos that I took over the weekend. Apparently my most faithful blog follower said that she didn't even know that I had a photography blog and hadn't seen anything that I have been doing over the past few months. I couldn't believe it! It is the big bird link on the side that says "photog blog" in case you didn't know. Maybe you care, maybe you don't, but whatev. :) I know I haven't really talked very much about my photography on this blog. I don't ever think of cute little specials or market myself or post something nearly every day of little importance (at least to me :) so you just keep looking. Not really my cup of tea, but maybe someday. Pretty much just this is what I do. If you like me, great, if not, that's OK too. I really look at this as a hobby until my kids go to school. Nothing too fancy dancy and time consuming, but not even my mom knew! I know that a lot of peeps do know because I have people from all over the world viewing it (a little scary!), but maybe you don't and because this is such a big part of my life, here is a little of what I have been doing recently.

I know you all were thinking something else.  :)  My family blog was really getting lost in everyone else's photos so it was time to depart from the fold.

BTW- there are some handsome pics of one darling little boy from my shoot today on my new photog blog!

P.S.  I'm sure you are all leaping for joy about this as I am.  :)  I did my website all by myself once again.  It isn't the greatest, but it sure took a lot of talking in computer language to figure that bad boy out.  For not ever having done anything like this before, I dare say it's not too shabby!  I'm sure I'll do some more tweaking as I get more time and learn a little more about building websites.

Doesn't that just look mouth watering? I am so giving this as a gift. DeLaine emailed me a few weeks ago about taking her family's photos. As I was posting their pics today, the movie "7 Brides for 7 Brothers" kept coming to mind. Their parents must be professional wedding planners by now. :)

Bridal Session

I emailed Pat the other day and told her that I had just had an epiphany about where we should do her bridal session. I can't believe that I hadn't thought of it earlier. Kel and I went to look through the model homes about a year ago and just loved the houses. Anywho, she also liked it. So here we are. Does she or does she not look like J. Lo? Must be nice. :)
