Thanksgiving weekend

How pathetic am I? This first picture is the only actual photo I have of Thanksgiving day. Well, it was a good day. No, it was a great day. Kel went to play football in the morning as he always has and he slid on the turf giving himself an enormous scab. We had a super cool family over from our ward and had a super cool time. :)

I {heart} living in a cul-de-sac. There is rarely a car. There's my little punk eating a rock.

Thanksgiving break looks to be treating Bryn well.


Off to the mountains for the plucking off of the Christmas tree. Year 2 for us. I know it looks as though we took the stroller hiking in the mountains to find a tree. You know us city folk. Actually we had already found the tree and Kel was cutting it while we waited.

I was thoroughly enjoying watching her try to eat her puffs with socks on her hands. I'm such a mean mom.




Here is the first picture of us together in like 10 years. It really looks as though I did my hair just like Olive Oil. Awesome.

Denver Zoo, Conference, Bath time...

Gah!!!! I love this girl so much it hurts! Her personality is to die for. She has about a million different facial expressions that just make me happy. Such a vibrant personality this girl has.

Usually when all is quite in the backyard there is certain to be mischief. Surprisingly not so this time.

Reunion

We recently had my family reunion/grandparents 50th wedding anniversary celebration. With their 11 surviving children and 50 (soon to be 52 grandchildren) and 5 great grandchildren, we make quite the group. Here are my lovely grandparents with their children. One of the things that I was in charge of was the photography. You can see each of our individual pic here.

Grandma and Grandpa McKendrick came into town about a week or two ago for a short visit. Kel Sr. had bought an old Japanese import from Indiana so they flew there to pick it up and drove home via here to see the kiddos.

This is Bre in her blessing dress. Her third great Grandmother was Christened in the dress in 1886. Bryn was also blessed in it.


Isn't this sad that Ambreigh was blessed a couple of months ago and I am only just now getting some photos of her in her dress...
