That's what I got.
The really cool one that makes your metabolism S L O W down and makes you GAIN weight.
Maybe that's why I could never get this last 5 off from my really
awesome second child.
Good, great, grand, wonderful!
Oh well, I suppose there are a lot worse things in life.
Now to get this sweet goiter in my neck a sonogram - the next health item
on my check list (don't you just love that word? Goiter. Goiter. Goiter. I could say that all day long, goiter).

At least you know what it is. That's GOOD NEWS! I have been tested so many times, and the doctors have no idea why I can't loose weight, and keep gaining. . . I would love to have a simple answer :)
ReplyDeleteNo fun. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. You look awesome though... you definitely don't need to lose any weight!
ReplyDeleteYou look great, you don't need to lose weight. But how are you feeling?
ReplyDeleteI actually feel awful. I am so incredibly fatigued it's not even funny. My hand has been numb for about 5 weeks, and major insomnia just to name a few. They have to run a few more tests before they know which medicine to put me on. I hope it's fast because I hate feeling so lethargic all the time.
ReplyDeleteI had that - they killed my thyroid with iodine treatments. I take synthroid now.
ReplyDeleteI too have this issue--- sucks!!! i just wished i looked like you, despite the fact :( i lived with it so long I was beginning to think i had depression, i was tired all the time, and felt like crap, which in turn, made my self-esteem diappear. Once I started synthroid, I noticed a difference immediately. I've been taking medication for two years now, and its been adjusted twice. I can started feeling when something is not right now. Which is a good and bad, thing. Good, cause I know its time to go to the dr. bad, cause we still don't have insurance :(
ReplyDeleteGlad you found out whats going on-- it could be much worse, this is definitely manageable :D
I hope you get feeling better soon! It's no fun to feel tired and have to take care of kids and things around the house.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the word goiter could be a tongue twister if you said it over and over. Sooooo, what's next? I really DON"T see you "gaining" any too much weight. But I am wondering how you are feeling. We should do ichat some time today.
ReplyDeleteDang Juli! I am so sorry to hear about that... It may not help- but as everyone is saying, you still look twiggy thin if that's a concern. I'm always envious of your darling body! But, the fatigue, the numbness... what a huge pain. I'm so sorry! Let me take the kids so you can rest. Luke and Rev would LOVE it!!
